How to restart a cell

This guide covers two ways to restart a cell: using the Front Desk app or manually powering it off and on, based on the cell’s hardware.

Follow the Steps below to restart a cell

  1. ​Restart the Cell via the Front Desk Application

    1. Open the Front Desk application.

    2. Click on CELLS.

    3. Find the cell name and click the >>> button under CONTROL.

    4. Select REBOOT.
      ​

  2. Manually Restart the Cell

    1. For cells with a breakout board:

      Unplug the connector highlighted in blue to cut the power. Then plug it back in to turn the cell on.
      ​

    2. For cells without a breakout board:
      Disconnect the power adapters from the outlet. Then connect them back in to restart the cell.
