The Prison Island World Cup consists of multiple stages, each with specific responsibilities divided between Headquarters (HQ) and individual franchisees. Below is an overview of the tournament structure and the tasks involved at each stage.

Stage 1: Local Try-Outs (Franchisee Responsibility)

  • Register to HQ that you will join the World Cup.

  • Order marketing-package from the Mediacenter (t-shirts, posters, diplomas etc)

  • IF you decide to host try-outs on a specific day, make sure to let us know so that we can update your local page on the World Cup website.

  • Market the conditions for your local try-outs.

  • Manage team registrations in the Front Desk application.

Stage 2: Country Finals (Host Responsibility)

Country Final hosts are selected by HQ for each World Cup Competition. Want to host a Country Final for the next World Cup? Just send us an email at [email protected]

Qualified Teams:

HQ manages communication with qualified teams and updates the World Cup website with schedules for each country final, unless otherwise agreed with the host.

Pre-Competition Briefing:

Explain rules and competition flow once all teams have arrived.

Start & Gameplay:

  • Teams position themselves in corridors, ready for a synchronized start.

  • The competition lasts 90 minutes, with score screens turned off for suspense.

  • Staff patrol to ensure fair play and provide time updates at 60, 30, 15, and 5 minutes remaining.

Awards & Qualification:

  • Announce results from last to first place to build excitement.

  • Prizes provided by HQ.

  • World Final Qualification: Top 2 teams qualify; if unable to attend, the next ranked team is invited.

  • HQ Presence: A HQ representative will aim to attend all Country Finals to oversee and support the event.

Stage 3: World Final (HQ Responsibility)

  • The World Final is fully planned and organized by HQ, ensuring a seamless and high-quality event for all qualified teams.
